Will H. Moore написал изумительной ясности материал (pdf) о классической, модернистской и постмодернистской онтологии. Не поймешь, правда, то ли он всерьез, то ли шутит. Правды, говорит, нет. Да и не надо. Забавно, что в Under Which Lyre, отрывок из которой Слезкин взял в качестве эпиграфа, написано про Mercurians:

Attention to Commercial Thought,
Public Relations, Hygiene, Sport,
