Daniel Pipes indignantly replies to the authors of the notorious article "The Israel Lobby" that

no "Lobby" told me to start Campus Watch. Neither the Middle East Forum nor myself have ever taken orders from some mythical "Lobby," and specifically I decided to establish Campus Watch on my own, without direction from any outside source.

This is funny, because the authors never said he was told to start Campus Watch by the Lobby. What they say is that Pipes himself IS the Lobby. Or, at least, an integral part of it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but no one is entitled to their own facts.

Meanwhile Ed Lasky monitors Harvard. And "The New York Sun" continues with Harvard's Paper on Israel Called 'Trash' By Solon, apparently a congressman, who "described its authors as anti-Semites." "Given what happened in the Holocaust, it's shameful that people would write reports like this," another congressman said.

Still, most of the discussions of the "outrageous" article is confined to the fringes, like this blog, All Things Beautiful.  ¶ 12:57 PM
